Disaster Management Awareness Program at St Paul’s School 

St. Paul's Co-Ed School, Anandnagar, Bhopal organised an Electrical and fire awaress program on Tuesday.The resource persons were 

Mohammad Imran Assistant Engineer (ES), Assistant Electrical Inspector, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal and Paritosh Awasthi Chartered Engineer and Energy Management Guide 

Disaster management.. In this program, Electrical Inspector Mohammad Imran and Energy Management Guide gave information related to fire prevention and its solutions in case of a fire .

In this awareness program which lasted for about one and a half hour, he told that fire drill is a better tool to deal with any emergency situation.

He emphasized on the use of sand stands, CO-2 and foam gas cylinders to deal with emergencies along with detailed information on how to use the equipment and how to deal with gas, electric and petrol fires. They trained a team of school teachers, students and support staff by demonstrating how to extinguish a fire.

 Principal, Vice Principal, Section Incharge, teachers, members of Fire Safety and Disaster Management Committee and students participated enthusiastically . Principal Father Jaison said that the message from the awareness program is if we see an accident happening or a possibility of an accident happening, then we must inform the responsible person.We should not be careless nor panic during such situations.
