"Independence Day: Celebrating India's Spirit"
On August 15, 2024, St. Paul's Co-Ed School marked Independence Day with spirited enthusiasm. The celebrations began with a lively reception by the school band, setting a patriotic tone. Chief guest Mr. Vibhansu Joshi, writer and former member of the Madhya Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights,  joined Principal Fr. Jaison and other dignitaries in hoisting the national flag. As the flag unfurled, the national anthem filled the air, instilling pride and love for the nation.

The day's program featured a variety of performances. A standout was the street play "Sanvidhan Ki Gatha," which powerfully addressed issues of discrimination in India. A trilingual speech in Hindi, Sanskrit, and English highlighted the importance of the Indian Constitution and showcased the students' linguistic skills. The event also included a moving dance performance that honored the sacrifices of Indian soldiers, stirring deep emotions and gratitude among the audience.
Additionally, a dance performance by Hindi medium students added a vibrant, patriotic flair to the celebrations. The release of the school's E-magazine by Mr. Joshi, reflected the accomplishment and achievements of students in various arenas.
Academic excellence was recognised with the bishop clements awards presented to toppers: Manvi Gupta (XII), Pragati Mahajan (X), and Sagar Thakur ( class 8, Hindi Medium).
Mr. Joshi, in his address, remarked that Independence Day is not just a festival but a grand celebration of India’s history and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
Vice Principal Fr. Thomas spoke about the significance of the tricolor, emphasizing unity, diversity, and justice, and praised the students for their participation.
The event concluded on a high note, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of patriotism and national pride.
