RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION

On August 17, 2024, St. Paul Co-Ed School in Bhopal celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm, highlighting the bond of love and protection between siblings. The festivities took place in the Chavara Hall, which was beautifully adorned with colorful ribbons, flowers, and traditional Indian motifs, setting a vibrant festive atmosphere.
The event commenced with a soulful rendition of the prayer song "Sumiran Kar Le," followed by a warm welcome. Students from classes I to V enriched the celebration with speeches and captivating dance performances, illustrating the significance of Raksha Bandhan. Meanwhile, students from classes XI and XII showcased their artistic skills with intricate mehndi designs, emphasizing that the festival symbolizes love, care, and mutual respect beyond just the brother-sister relationship.
Rev. Fr. Jaison, the school principal, commended the students for their efforts and success in making the event memorable. He highlighted the deeper meaning of Raksha Bandhan and encouraged everyone to embody the values of love, respect, and unity in their lives.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, bringing students and teachers together in a joyous and meaningful manner.
