Awareness program on gender sensitivity, good touch, bad touch and cyber security at St.Paul's School

A workshop on 'Bagless Day' was organized at St.Paul's Co-Ed School, Bhopal to bring awareness on important topics like gender sensitivity, good touch bad touch and cyber security. The aim of this initiative was to educate students in these essential subjects. The program was organized in collaboration with Women and Child Development and UNICEF. The resource persons were Mr. Amarjeet Singh and Ms. Agra Tiwari UNICEF Bhopal.
Mr. Manish Parihar ji and Mr. Sushil Sajnani ji from the Women and Child Development Department were also present.
The first session focused on personal safety, especially the difference between good touch and bad touch. The resource person explained through examples and short films to help students understand these concepts.
The growing concern of cyber security was discussed in the second session. Presently students have become more active online on social media
He highlighted the risks associated with the internet and gave practical tips to stay safe in the digital world.
The third session started with Gender Sensitization, where students were introduced to the concepts of gender equality and respect and importance of all. Through interactive activities and discussions, students were informed about the harmful effects of gender stereotypes and how they can contribute to this inclusive environment.
The Personal Safety Workshop concluded with a feedback session, where students shared their curiosity and thoughts on what they had learned. The speaker encouraged students to continue these conversations with parents and their teachers so that the knowledge gained has a lasting impact.
To express the feeling of respect and appreciation, Principal Father Jaison presented a memento to all the speakers and guests and he told the students that in the present times, 'self-protection and cyber security are very important. We should be aware of our rights only then we will remain alert.
