Sparkling Spirits: A Diwali Extravaganza
The Diwali celebration at St. Paul School on October 28 was a vibrant and joyous occasion, uniting students and staff in the spirit of the Festival of Lights. The event commenced with a warm welcome, followed by a touching poem recited by Swasti and Mohit from class VII, which beautifully captured the essence of Diwali.
Sonam and Aaradhya from class VIII then took the stage to speak about the significance of Diwali, emphasizing its role as a festival of light that symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and the renewal of life and hope.
A highlight of the celebration was a captivating dance drama depicting the return of Lord Rama, Lakshman, and Sita. The performers, adorned in traditional attire, brought the story of the Ramayana to life with impressive skill and dedication, leaving the audience in awe of their vivid portrayals and the accompanying music.
Rev. Fr. Jaison, Principal addressed the gathering, extending heartfelt Diwali wishes to everyone. The event wrapped up with a vote of thanks from Aarradhya Pare of class VI, who expressed gratitude to all participants, teachers, and organizers for making the celebration memorable. The day was filled with performances, reflections, and the joyous celebration of life, embodying the true essence of Diwali.
