St. Paul's Co-Ed School in Bhopal organized a Mother's Orientation program on June 22, 2024, which began with a warm welcome from the school principal, Father Jaison, to the esteemed chief guest, Ms. Pallavi Nigam, an expert in nutrition and dietetics.
Ms. Pallavi Nigam emphasized the pivotal role mothers play in a child's physical and mental development. She discussed crafting nutritious meals tailored to children's preferences, ensuring they receive adequate vitamins and minerals daily. Her advice included introducing children to a variety of tastes early on, steering clear of fast food, and incorporating ample green vegetables and fruits into their diets. Additionally, she underscored the value of instilling moral education in daily life.
Teachers engaged with parents of older students, emphasized the holistic development of students. They detailed the examination system under the New Education Policy and stressed the importance of discipline and time management in achieving academic success. Encouraging a balanced approach, they advocated for integrating physical activities, sports, and recreational activities into daily routines to foster mental well-being. They echoed Ms. Nigam's advice on nutrition, urging families to prioritize healthy eating habits over fast food.
The event concluded with Sister Amulya presenting Ms. Pallavi Nigam with a token of appreciation, followed by a vote of thanks to all the participants.
